Finally the longest 2 ball ties were compleated tonight but after 6 day of wait the Artisans lost the match 2-1. 
The 1st match S Cargill & S Graham lost a close game on the final green to R.Bell & C Donaldson
Match 2 P Teviotdale & J Howe won on the final green defeating A Grant & S Robertson
The Final match went down extra holes where G.Middleton & E Rae lost at the 19th to an eagle 2 holed by former Artisan member S Smith who played with G Bell.
This was a great effort by all the boys who played for the team this season and lets hope next season we can make the semis again and maybe go 1 step further.

Just a quick update on the 6 man team.
The match was played last night in what I must say was the heaviest rain I have ever played in, but due to the weather there was no result as 2 matches failed to get past the 15th with bad light stopping play.
After a call to the county a future date will need to be arranged to replay the whole match or replay the 2 matches still to finish.
To add a small note Panmure or Barry as I call it was in excellent condition and top marks to the greenkeeping staff.

This subject reared its ugly head again yesterday,why were a couple of groups of hackers allowed out at the back of 11 to hold everyone up.4 1/2 hours for our round!! The semi final has now been set for Tuesday 17th 5.30 tee off  at Barry

The Artisans have made the semi final of the 6 man team this year after coming through a tough group. 
With wins against Edzell, Kirriemuir and Broughty and a defeat to Ballumbie the Artisans now face a difficult task against Downfield A. 
We are currently trying to arrange the date for the match which will take place at a neutral venue with the final taking place at Carnoustie.
The members who have taken part in the team so far are S.Cargill, S.Graham, J.Howe, G.Smith, G.Middleton, E.Rae and P.Teviotdale
